The first Foudre release of 2020 is a dark hued ale, aged one year in French oak foudre. A balanced expression of beer- no adjuncts- just malt, hops, yeast, and water developed in oak over time.
Dark colored, but lighter bright coffee, honey, plum characteristics with subtle spice from aging on oak. A kiss of tartness keeps things interesting and quaffable.
