Head Brewer

Goose Island Beer Company is currently seeking a Head Brewer to lead our brewing team and coordinate the materials necessary to produce consistent quality beer.
The Head Brewer is also responsible for keeping the brewing staff on the forefront of brewing innovation, excellence, and sustainability. The Head Brewer will teach, train, and grow the brewing team to be well-rounded, top brewers in the industry and become brewery ambassadors for external Goose Island events.
Well rounded management skills, a related degree (Science or Engineering), and a minimum of 3-5 years of brewery supervisory/management experience is needed for successful candidacy. Good verbal and written communication skills, mathematical and analytical skills are required. Interpersonal and motivations skills required. Full understanding of beer science, brewhouse, and cellar operations are a must. Past brewery installation experience will be helpful.

On Premise Program Coordinator

Goose Island's marketing team is seeking a Program Coordinator to be responsible for the execution of Goose Island's brand programs in bars and restaurants.
Applicants should have significant experience in conceptualizing, executing, and evaluating programs and promotions that take place in bars and restaurants. Strong communication and promotional skills will be essential to enlist accounts and to manage part time promotional staff.

Digital Marketing Manager

Goose Island Beer Company is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to craft digital playgrounds that connect beer drinkers with the Goose Island brand and influence their beer purchasing considerations. Responsibilities include development of digital marketing strategy, management of development resources, KPI tracking, CRM, email marketing, mobile marketing, SEO, online advertising, social media and mobile marketing initiatives.
This position is based in Chicago and an average week of 50 - 60 hours is expected, though candidates may be asked to work additional hours in support of strategic goals. This position reports to the Brand Director and regularly interacts with Public Relations, Experiential Marketing and Field Marketing Managers as well as Goose Island’s staff of in-house designers and content developers.
Education Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or Digital Communications
Experience Requirements
1. 3-5 years of experience digital marketing program management in the consumer packaged goods industry. Experience marketing in the beer, wine, or spirits industries is a plus.
2. Experience working with KPI’s
3. Strong project management skills and the ability to work with business partners and technology personnel.

Vintage Ale Brewery Representative

Goose Island Beer Company is quickly expanding into new markets and is in need of knowledgeable and passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals. Goose Island is currently seeking a Vintage Ale Brewery Representative in the DC area. The Vintage Ale Brewery Representative will be responsible for growing the distribution, sales and velocity of Goose Island’s Vintage Portfolio to become the leading ultra premium ale portfolio in the assigned market.
Principal responsibilities include developing and executing plans to meet annual targets, developing strong relationships with key retailers, and liaising with the Marketing team to develop tools necessary to serve the retail environment.
Along with delivering passion and a high degree of energy, qualified candidates will have a good understanding of the local culinary landscape and the essentials of food/beer and food/wine pairings and will be able to sell to buyers as well as interact with chefs and key players in the culinary world.

- Solid understanding of business math.
